Okay, we’ll admit to bias on this one – we love our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom villa and cherish every opportunity we have to spend time there.  Here is a snapshot of its unique setting & features:

The Pacific Ocean and bright blue skies form the backdrop.  The gorgeous fairway and swaying palm trees of the signature 7th hole of the Waikoloa Beach Resort golf course dominate the foreground. The combination is stunning.

Watching the sun disappear into the Pacific each evening is a sight to behold.  Our building is one of few situated to enjoy this year round – winter, spring, summer & fall.

Having no stairs makes coming and going easy for those with mobility issues and a nice treat for those desiring to maximize their rest & relaxation. The lawns at Hali’i Kai are pure heaven.  Step off our lanai and the huge, level lawn is yours to enjoy.  Toss a football or Frisbee, do cartwheels, play catch or tag, even chip some golf balls.

A professionally furnished and decorated home has an unmistakable look with color, shape, and design sensibility all coming together in a beautiful visual package.  The Henderson Design Group truly did a fantastic job with our villa.

The Ocean Club is the crown jewel of the Hali’i Kai complex and the coveted villas are those that are close in.  At the same time, it’s nice to avoid being too close to the Ocean Club and its parking circle.  Our building is situated perfectly to balance these criteria – the Ocean Club is only a short stroll away while our lanai and lawn area offer a delightful measure of peacefulness and privacy.

As an interior, ground floor unit, our villa enjoys a unique measure of protection from the sun’s warm rays.  With average daily high temperatures hovering in a wonderfully pleasant range of 80-87 degrees year round, we find that it’s more comfortable and healthier to open the doors & windows, turn on ceiling fans and vacation 24/7 in the natural temperature range that is unique to this tropical setting.

We loaded up our unit with all the “toys” needed to dive headfirst into an active vacation. Beach & pool toys, picnic supplies, tennis rackets, footballs, basketballs, mitts, balls… it’s all there.  We’ve also got all the electronic “toys” you’d want – flat screen TVs, DVD players, a Sonos player, and even a Nintendo Wii.
